well lads was driving away yesterday in my non turbo starlet doing about 80km/h in 5th, dropped to 3rd to pass a few cars and further up the road i could here a rattling comin from the engine, pulled in and it started to conk out, started up again and same thing kept cutting out, then noticed there was a engine mount just after breaking aswel, started up again and the engine just kept spluttering and running like a bag of shit, the slightest of revs and there was a desperare knocking noise coming from the engine, (not from the bottom end.) got the lad with me to jump out and pull out the leads one by one, pulled the 1st spark lead from far left and the engine stayed running, did the same with the 2nd and same story again. unusual. pulled 3rd and 4th individually again and when they were pulled out the engine cut out straight away... im of the opinion that the timing belt might have slipped in her but i dont know for sure.... do any of ye have any idea what it could be
