Extarnal Wastegate

Hi mates,

I have a t28 setup with internal wastegate at the moment but im planning to make it external to improve on. I have a custom made headers which was build specifically for a internal wastegate turbo. My question is now, can i weld in the ext wastegate in just one of the runners? (ex. nr4 due to space under the hood) or does it need to be setup a different way?

You cant weld it into one of the existing manifold runners.
That wont work at all.

You need to add a runner off of the collecter and attach the external wastegate there.
Probably easier to buy another manifold tbh.
