fitting a FMIC

hi,
if i was to fit a front mount, would my psi drop? at the moment im gettin bout 0.8 with pretty standard mods! and i read somewhere that fitting a front mount decreases turbo pressure or sumting like dat, or is ther a chance of boost creep due to there being more cold air etc?

you cus turn it up and see how much you can reach but remeber everyones car is different, could just be your car mate cant complain if it is, could be your gauge ?

fuel cut on mine is like 0.9 i tink!!! mayb a stupid qu. but wot kind of benifits will i notice with a front mount?? some bloke told me that with starlets it wouldnt make a difference cuz they dont suffer from over heating or sumat, but then wot would be the point in having them??

if your running standard parts not much benifits in power increases, but car wont feel so bogged down after sitting in traffic and on hot days, more cold air for the engine, big difference i noticed is the noise from the turbo is louder, but i brought mine as im goin to up the power later on

there mnostly needed on higher powered starlet such as td04 etc etc

ah i c!!! yeh im lookin to go tdo4 or sumat like that, so it would be a must have! but for now its just gna b de-cat, manifold n front mount! along wid my actuator, induction kit and exhaust.
lol, surely id notice the difference then? im annoyed at losing to gay civics n id like to wipe dat smarmy grin off there face!!! :mad:

youmight find if you fit a mani fmic decat and induction kit you may get boost creep so just have that in mind:)

how do i combat this?? lol, id just adjust the boost on my actuator? or would this then put me back 2 square 1 with a car thats not much quicker? or is this wen an ecu is needed?

yes, turn actuator back up

no ure car will not be slower, boost does not just equal power, fmic will reduce ure air temp, cooler air is denser, more power!

u wont get boost creep from front mount

lol, ah i c!! sorry!!

wot if i was to fit a de-cat & manifold aswell as a front mount? id be more liable to boost creep then wldnt i? how can i combat it???

ive read wot you guys have wrote bout the fmic well i got afmic manaford hdi boost controller but i want to turn my boost up but it wont turn up past 0.8 bar if i get a hks aactuator will it allow me to turn the boost up??
