Fitting a used emanage blue

Ive just bought an emanage blue with field extension harness but was wondering if theres anyway of clearing the map on it before i plug it in or how to do this when its fitted. Also what positions should the switches be behind the cover so i know there correct. Mines a 92 gt if it makes a difference. thanks
