Foolish wing mirror question

How does the interior cover piece come off?
I assume it would just pop off, but I can't get it to go and I fear any more pressure and it will crack.
Is there a trick to it?
Or some mystery screw I can't see?
Got a replacement to install

it should just pop off they may be a bit tight if they have not been off for a long time tho

It was fused on there ... I managed to crack it... can anyone send me a new one?

For future reference for anyone .. it pops out at the top part of the triangle, then slides upwards.
