Front Speakers

Right, After owning my Glanza for 9 months now I have just realised they have front speakers lol. They look like half decent Pioneers ones too. Problem being I have no idea if they are wired in or not. There are two wires coming from each speaker but there is absolutely no way in hell I can trace them back to the head unit.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get them to work?

Thanks
Jamie

Lol well that was teh obvious answer. I set myself up for that one lol. Yea it looks like standard wiring coming from them but I'm not sure where they would go to on the headunit. So I can't check and its like a fucking jungle of wires as I have Emanage so theres no way in hell of following the wires.

The wires from the speakers will connect in to the back of the head unit so it wont interfere with your emanage.
The standard speaker wires should also be 2 different colours. I think one is pink and one is green if i remember rightly.
Try taking your head unit out and looking at the bunch of wires that plug in the back. The green and pink wires should be visible to you.
If you are still having problems. Disconnect the speakers at the speaker end and fit new wires from speaker to head unit. If your head unit is half decent you should have 1 or 2 pre amped ports that you could use for 6X9's etc. Just wire your front speakers to those.
Hope this helps.

Yea I checked the plug in the back of the headunit and there aren't the same colour wires in the plug that are in the speakers. I don't think they are OEM speakers though so its probably a mix match of OEM speaker wire at headunit side and Pioneer speaker wire at the speaker end and they have just been joined in the middle. I think I will just have to rewire them into the headunit if theres anywhere to rewire them to as I have no idea where on the plug they would go lol.

Repped for your help.

Cheers.
If you still cannot get them to work after rewiring or cant find a place to rewire them to, just take your car down to your local Halfords or ICE shop and they will have it sorted for you in no time.
