Fuel left in tank for 9 months

Hi,

I've had the car off the road for about 9 months and there's about an 8th of a tank left.

Should I drain this out or just shove plenty fresh fuel in before I start the car?

Any help greatly appreciated, cheers.

for the sake of a 5r pal just ditch it. If its been open to the atmosphere the petrol will be no good anyway.

Aye cheers mate, I knew it would be no good, just not really messed about with fuel lines much before. I'm guessing to drain it from the pipe at the fuel rail as said in this thread -

I live next to a garage so it's no bother getting petrol with the car stationary, if it's easier just to fill it up.

Gonna need to change all the engine oil as well before starting it up again I think.

Do the Glanza tanks have a bung / plug underneath to drain it from? Would be easier / faster from there if it does.

Just fill it up with fresh and it will be fine. For that tank full just don't go too mad to be safe!
