assuming the tank is 37 litres and according to the prices you stated the cost will be just under £3 extra per full tank. with the £12 extra you said it costs it meant that the price of normal unleaded would be about £1 per litre.

if your filling up twice a week then that is a £6 saving. better than nothing but hardly something worth worrying about.

Add that to 12K miles I normally do a year, meaning 8p would make some difference. Assuming I do 25 mpg on average - 12000/25=480 gallons*4.5L=2160L*J1.27 (regular petrol)=J2743 a year or if I would buy Super unleaded and pay extra 8p per L - that would be 2160L*j1.35=J2916, meaning the difference would be J173 - and that is assuming the petrol would cost the same for the whole year which will never happen!

I can't notice any difference at all, running 95 RON or 99RON, probably for those running 200BHP+ the difference would be noticeable!

The first thing to go I think would be the Injectors - but that would require many years to come! I know people in Far East Russia use 92 RON petrol for ANY Japanese Imported cars and drive them for years with no problems! That includes fast cars like Skyline or Supra, highly modded as well!

The tank size is 10 American Gallons!

The LPG is the way to go - no emissions, LEGAL Decat, 65p a litre, cleaner for the Engine, 115 RON - Standard LPG - that is the way I'm going this year and it's gonna give me extra BHP as well as brand new fuel pump and the Injectors capable of running higher boost!
