spline count

i'm replicating my original message across all posts relating to CVJs and spline counts hoping someone will catch on and give more input since they are all pretty old threads.. :)
below is my original message;

mine is a little more interesting.. the car came with this configuration;
RHS (belt-side);
- 23 splines on the outer CVJ end (side that goes into the steering hub)
- 30 splines on the inner CVJ end (drive shaft side)
- the shaft itself is slightly thicker than the other
- the CV joint itself is smaller than the other

LHS (trannie-side);
- 23 splines on the outer CVJ end (side that goes into the steering hub)
- 23 splines on the inner CVJ end (drive shaft side)
- the shaft itself is slightly thinner than the other
- the CV joint itself is bigger than the other

so technically, it's a 23/30 and 23/23 configuration. since mine is the p-sport glanza, i'm suspecting it must have originally come with the OEM LSD box that was swapped out for this stock box hence the shaft differences. can anyone give an explanation for this besides my conspiracy theory..? plus, what is the OEM/stock spline count for the glanza drivetrain.. 23/23 or 23/30..?
