Glanza has no power!

In the last few days I put an ep82 engine in my glanza v due to a piston ring issue, the car revs perfect in neutral but when I moved it from the garage today it was so slow and I was losing power the more I put the foot down, couldn't see above 25mph. Any ideas what it could be?

Do you get slow throttle response? If you do it could be a tps fault.
Do you get any engine management light on the dash?

Yes the engine management light is on, what's a tps fault?

Throttle position sensor I think. Was everything replaced during the swap? All sensors etc?

All the sensors that we could find that were different were swapped over, it must be that tps as the symptoms the car is haveing seem to match with the effects of a tps issue

I sent mark a pm a week or two ago to see if he could help sort fuelling etc but I got no reply, can anyone point me in the direction as to where the tps is on the inlet?

Hi fella on the inlet side off manifold where your intercooler pipe connects, look just behind the butterfly its a small black box with a senser plug around 35mm ish cant miss it as its the only one there right infront of bulk head

also did you use your own inlet manifold when you swapped

We kept the inlet that came with it on the engine, can I just swap the sensor or do I need to swap the whole inlet?

You can swap the sensors, but it will need to be calibrated again.

So id be aswell just swapping inlets?

It's worth calibrating again no matter what if you've swapped engines and ecu's. It just rules another possbility out

I have the top mount Inter cooler. The Car is really stock. Only someone have fitted a direct Air cleaner. I look for a Stock Air box. I heard there can be some Problems with the direct Air cleaner and overall the Engine soaks hot Air from the engine bay.
