Hi, iam planig install an Greddy EMU. Have already Greddy Loom, A/F gauge with output chanal for EMU

I want to erase Fuelcut to run higher Boost with needed injection and ignition adjusting.

WILL I NEED SEPERAT GREDDY BOOST SENSOR?
Is OEM MAP sensor always needed?

Actually stock sensor goes to 1.2+ bar. So with a plain ct9 you will be covered. If you go forged and bigger turbo, then you will need the external emange sensor.

Hi, i want use ct9 Hybrid. THink this runs up to 1,2bar. So OEM MAP sensor would be good?
The EMU ready the Boost with OEM MAP sensor, and send lower boost information to the OEM ECU to erase fuel cut? So i dont need the greddy Sensor?

the oem map is needed for the stock ecu, so it cant be removed

i would still advise you to get the emu boost/map sensor as you may be able to get a better tune overall...the emu and emu boost sensor were designed to work together

you see, i know that you could run the emu and rely on the OEM map sensor to around 1 bar ------------- (no need for greddy boost/map sensor), it has been done and it works.

however, the OEM map sensor limit is around 1.0 bar-1.2 bar as said above, while the greddy map sensor limit is 2.0bar.....now which sensor would you have more confidence in being accurate at those higher boost levels??:cool:

for the price of the greddy boost sensor and harness, i'd just buy and use them for piece of mind

hence the stock ecu will continue to use the OEM map sensor, while emu will rely on greddy boost sensor to which it is calibrated

The greddy boost sensor also is needed if you want your datalog to show boost pressure as well.

Both sensors would be accurate.

1.2 is actually in its range. It's not bad or out of range.

If no need for above that pressure, save some money...
