greddy td05 info needed please

Hi guys and girls,ive was wondering what the main difference is to go externally gated rather then internally gated,im wondering weather to go down the externally gated route as i love the sound the waste gate makes but are there any disadvantages going this route??the turbo im referring to is a greddy td05,any info will be really appreciated thanks in advance :beer:

no dissadvantages at all mate except of the sound of it lol. personally i love it but it down to what you like.

external wg settups allow improved boost controlling, sometimes running an external wg make the life of your exhaust easier by not making it necessary to go to a slightly bigger bore exhaust.

unless you are getting boost creep issues or the turbo set up you have only comes externally gatted then you are just doin git for the noise
what a fine noise it is though with a screamer pipe

thanks for the info guys really appreciated,to be honest its just for the noise:shootgos and hides):slap:the set up on the car is standard ie ct20 but ive managed to acquire a full greddy td05 kit so il bang that on and take it from there,but the noise:haha:
