help asap please, changing rear pads

just cant seem to get the calliper to wind back far enough to accept the new pads, any ideas?

what ive done

loosened off handbrake
removed calliper
tried to wind back piston but it just wont go far back enough to go over the new pads, i can take it further out but not back in!!

any help?

alright mate . i just done mine there. tricky alright depends on the tool your using i had a grips the hard way . get the wind back tool for it only way if you can get one. also open up the brake fluid bootle then wind them back if you can???

ive got a windback tool but not that one that dave at TMD sell, similar tho. it just wont go back far enough, i think il whip out the mole grips now

thats what i did. do you have the cap off the brake fluid bootle?

yeah. ive turned it loadsa times with the grips and it just aint going anywhere, im guessing its threaded inside?

if you cant wind it back but the orginal back on and get somewhere to do t give them the hassle

tough cookie mate mine was stiff but it took a while to go back alright

mine must be threaded complete, aint going forward or backward now, and the seal is complete fooked. took the piston out and it looks pretty well gone
