Alright lads, im new to this whole thing, obviously.... i need help with my glanza.
I need to know quite alot as i haven't a clue about anything haha.
im looking to make this thing brutally quick, its fast as it is, but im looking to go a bit crazy ;)
1st of all, i see alot of talking about ecus? like the greddy ultimate, blue etc... will i need 1? and what purpose does it have?
i looked at quite alot of tdo4 builds, and they seem to be the tool for the job, but what will i need to make it safe? Also they all mostly have aftermarket ecus.
My engine is pretty much standard atm, apart from a kakimoto exhaust, blitz dump valve and a hks mushroom filter. so its ready to play with.
i also need a front mount, but i read somewere you have to do away with the air con? or is it relocating the air filter that woul do this? i clearly dont have a clue, but this has to be the place for answers :) any tips, answers or reccomendations welcome. Thanks.

The first few things that you can do considering your set up.

Aftermarket exhaust manifold.

Downpipe.

HKS actuator to raise boost to 1 bar. [Assuming you still have a CT9].

Boost controller.
Aftermarket Fuel pump [A good upgrade since the stock one is already 10years plus old]

Ecu,Emanage ultimate.

Fuel pressure regulator [Will cater to future upgrades but not compulsory].

Better handling setup,coilovers.

Better brakes,[brake lines,fluid,pads]

As for the Front mount,you dont have to really do away with the aircon rad. Most of them are aircon compatible.
Its only when you are relocating the airfilter then you have to do away with the aircon..
With all of the above,i guess you get a good 180hp.

Hope i havent missed out on anything.

Cheers buddy, great help! I have tein coilovers all round, dunno if they are any good or not, they came with it when i got it, any ideas where i can find good manis and a downpipe? the rest should be pretty straight forward to pick up :) thanks again.

say i was to drop a tdo4 1 in, is it big money and where do i find the mani and downpipe etc.. for that? Sorry for the stupidity lads, but i am new lol thanks.
