MR2 ECU IN A GT TURBO???help please

was just wondering if anyone has ever herd of a gt turbo using a mr2 ecu!if anyone has could you tell me what you know of the giving any trouble because im thinking of buying a gt with one

Not unless the engine is a 3ste. I've never heard of it and the plugs are probably completely different and so are the looms.

There wouldnt be much of an upgrade fitting a stock MR2 ecu into one, if its an aftermarket ecu then its possible but the power figure is not that big.

Apexi Power FCs for the EP82 were modified by a company called AP Engineering from MR2 turbo ecus, but why he wouldnt say its a FC is beyond me, unless he doesnt know what it is.
