Help oil pressure switch

Can anyone help, need to replace a oil pressure switch in my 1991 ep82 gt turbo.
I have the switch and went too the garage to replace it only to be told they can't find it.
Can anyone let me know the location of it.

Wrong section boyo.

Its just behind the decat on the FRONT of the block near the bottom. Quite hard to see especially with loads of dirt on it!

It's handy enuf.. If I remember it's a 27mil spanner.. Has a single wire on the switch! It's a female spade connector just pull it of then unscew the switch. be careful refitting because threads very fine!!!

oil pressure sender location

louis1983, in all honesty.. if you went into a GARAGE that could NOT FIND your oil pressure sender then i'd want nothing (more) to do with them.. :! eek! :eek:

as the lads have already said, it's located at the front of the block. rather awkward but you can (still) reach it. i'd much rather get a mate from here with some experience to help with the swap than go back to the garage.. :( they are proli the kind of people who will ruin your motor then tell you, "oh well, it was dying anyway and nothing we could have done about it.." :!

Bring it to halfords there the best at everything! You name it they can do it.. Even your switch haha.. (seriously dont).. Prob end up taking the radio out
