Help spot of bother(engine mount)

Finally got round to the engine mount, the engine is being supported by the jack. Iv also took the 4 bolts around the mount and it still wont budge.
How doni free it out to get the old rubber out?

by the looks of it mate you have to lower the engine off of the mount and by the looks of what people say here they cut parts of it of then burn the rest out

I cant actually get the metal chunck out that holds the rubber

i dont know which engine mount your talking about, but the only you can have any real trouble with is the mounts on the top left of the engine bay, (left side of cambelt)

there is a nut hidden away underneath. you can only get to it from under the car with a long extension.
