hi/lo boost

hey want to know how do i set up the hi/lo boost on the ep82 4efte cuz im only getting low boost 6 psi/ thanks

Ummm there should be a little button in the cabin of your car, near the hazzard lights with a high/low boost option. Push it in for high boost (i think?)

If its all standard and nobody has put a manusla boost controller under the hood or an uprated actuator then the hi/low boost mode is operated by the button to the right of the hazard light switch.

Low is 0.45bar and high is 0.65bar.

The eception to the rule are JAM actuators which when installed use the hi/low button but boost a lot higher.

sorry what i meant to say is that i swapped the engine in a tercel and the hi/lo switch is not connected inthe car. so i wanted to know how do you set it up or bypass it

ok i tried this and boost only goes to about 7-psi, anyone know what could maybe cause this? its stock setup btw

yep loop it around. un do them and plug the ends and see if you get a different reading. if so then it worked, if not then I think you have a leak in the line or a messed up actuator.
