hey,..

im thinking about a change of scene now my glanza is nearly built, will prob just strip it as i have someone wanting my engine already.

was thinking about ek9 type r or s2000,but not sure which to go for, will be a long term car as im self employed so dont want to horse money into my car rather than work gear/nights out ect.

thanks in advance.

EK9 you defiantly wont be dissapointed, i was reasonably impressed with the s2k when i got a passenger seat in one but i much prefered the way the ek9 went!!!
why the change, and how much you want for your turbo kit?

Bored of the V already mate? :(

I love S2000s, going to get one after the GT i think, just a nice looing cruiser, some nice wheels and coilovers, and maybe some ITBs, job done!!

EK9's are like flies around here!!

Did you get your problems sorted out with the gearbox?

Are EK9s really that common up in scotland? i can honestly say the only one iv ever seen on the road down here is the odd few when im working in london, and the one my dad used to own!!!

Honestly there everywhere.
In my local town (which is weenie compared to the usual Glasgow etc) there were 4 at one point with a heap of EK4's to boot.

the gearbox problem is a collapsed bearing, rather than get a new box i was guna get a more 'standard' car,as itll take too long to sell as a whole.

i love the glanza but i cant justify spending all the money on it to get it up to a good spec when i have nowhere to work on it and cant really afford to not have a car on the road, unless i get a 2nd car.

im not sure about how much for the td04 kit tbh,ill text you.

id have to buy a J's racing kit for the s2k but apart from that and little bits the engine will be stock-ish for a while, till ive got a steady amount of work. still guna track whatever i get.

they are bit flashy which i like, and the comfort ect is great.

99% guna break tho!

i was just gona say the same thing!! u cant go vtec after having that sig! i always say to myself "the next car ill get will be something nice and keep it standard" it wont happen, once youve got the mod bug you wont be able to stop :)

saying that, a nice s2000 is a seriously nice car, wouldnt mind one myself!

well i got like 5k cash once the glanza is stripped and gone i recon,so rest can be on finance,7k is really my budget.

was lookin at dc5's,too.

thought about gt4 but was told there slow,s14's will be a petrol guzzler as i had a pulsar n both sr20det engined.

want comfy, little bit refined, 30+mpg cruiseing, new-ish.

mr2's are too old for my next car.

thanks for the advice,i know about my sig, would be ironic :)
