hot / warm start problem.

A couple of weeks ago I drove to the local shop parked up, went in and got some nappies or something, I came out and tried to start the V, it started initial but dyed after about 2 seconds. I tried to restart but it turned over and wouldn't fire, on waiting about 20 minutes I tried again and it started.
Checked through the usual temp sensor, tps on the emanage data log, the car would start if the coolant temp was below 70. I eventually checked the fuel pump and discoveried the pump power lead was slightly unseated pushed it home and havent had any problems since, touch wood..

interesting. sounds similar to an intermittent problem i have. it sometimes just clears up itself for a bit and then re-appears!!!!

ive had the fuel pump out countless times to try and find the fault so i doubt mine is that issue. i may check my fuel pump wiring though.
