Hello

Bought some new yokohama A048's for my car, but its currently as its so low i cant fit them, the tyre profile height is slightly higher on this A048's and i need to raise the suspension, they are 195x50x16 which are currently on the back too, but the fronts have 205x45x16 and i want to fit the same size to match the rears.

Can someone explain to me how to do this, i havent adjusted these my self before. They are D2 Coilovers and i have the adjusting tools which came with them still. In particular its the fronts i need to change.

Thanks

Craig

exactly, DOn't use C spanners on spring rings. this will change the preload and afect your drive. you are not supposed to adjust height this way. this is a common mistake.

you need to adjust from shock bottom mount. unscrew the ring that is on top of bottom mount, then just turn the full shock into the bottom mount (screw the unit in the bottom mount) it will slowly lower your ride. turn as much as you wish :) then tight the bottom ring back again :)
