how far to go?

iv got a 97 glanza v only mod's are backbox and a blitz dumpvalve!want to take my car up to around 160bhp!what will i need to do this and its my every day car so it needs to be reliable

decat and uprated manifold,

fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump

adjustable actuator to set boost to 1 bar

and thatll be it :)

my aims 180bhp if you want to go my plans? i..e rr manifold,hks actuator,fcd,rrfpr,fmic,relocated filter,1.2 bar plus a few other bits

how do you knwo this???people have said the OEM cooler isnt best for 1 bar+....thats why people have rx7 items

Well he said he wants it to be reliable and 1.2 bar on the stock turbo certainly won't be!

The ct9 runs out of puff at 1 bar anyway.

lol when i blow the dinky ct9 itll be hybrid or td04 time:rockon:....might aswell run 1.0 bar....but id rather be special and run 1.2 bar:D:D

Run 1.2bar for a few weeks, blow it, take your engine with you. 2grand for forged rebuild and mad money for the td04 kit...SHOTGUN NOT. 12psi on my ct9 and i'm happy I reckon. Still need rrfpr though :(

I'm scared I'll break my engine, turbo should be fine its only a few months old, but I worry a lot lol

by special do you mean with a lot of smoke, a LOT of heat and very little lasting power?

if yes, then you'll be very special.

going 1.2 instead of 1 bar will give u next to nothing
will only give u slightly more torque but like dave said will only be able to hold it for about 2seconds = POINTLESS!
