How much will i notice ct9 at 1 bar - td04 change

Going for this pretty soon and will be running td04 at safer levels for standard engine etc. going to be mapped on the emanage blue as well...

Love to know what I will experience...

Do you mean whats 1 bar on the CT9 like compared to 1 bar on the TD04? Like for like boost theres a fairly big difference.

Think its safe to run 0.8 bar on td04 if mapped right. so should be noticeable improvement??

what kind of bhp u think should make?

yeh Glanza/gts with the td04s on fly even at 0.8 bar, quite agressive actually!
don't know what they would be like at 1.4 bar! eeek!

brill! what sort of 0-60 and bhp estimate would u expect from a 1 bar td04 glanza? sorry if thats bit vague.

gonna have nick do the work for me and map my emanage. great guy. gonna cost a fair whack but will be worth it...

expect around 220-230bhp i would say on a healthy, well setup engine with supporting mods.

and nick will see you right :)

Should be quicker than that mate, I managed a 6.4 on .8 bar on ct9 with shite nankang tyres and no antilift kit I did have the optional lsd box mind, only managed a 6.7 since with a standard glanza box

Agree,

If you're going to run a TD04, you'll want to use it with some decent boost pressure. You may feel like the car is faster, but in reality it's just a little laggier but packs a bigger punch.

I would guess the area UNDER the dyno graph would be similar for both, the CT9 offer alot low down and midrange, but the TD04 more on the upper scale.

Depends what your intentions are.

On the road or in cornering the CT9 will perform well, you have to measure the time gained out of the corners to the time caught up by the TD04 on the straights. CT9 is more forgiving if you're in the wrong or between gears.

In the video you'd need to grand the CT9 an afermarket manifold for it to be a more fair comparison.
