How to clean top mounted intercooler?

I want to cleant mine out. its a 4efte stock top mounted ic.

I searched the forum and didn't find anything.

I researched, and found out that some guys use carb cleaner (about 4 or 5 cans). Just soake it up, shake it around, and then rinse the hell out of it with water (garden hose).

Someone used gasoline.

and someone used deagreasser.

WHAT WOULD YOU GUYS RECOMMEND?

used diesel on mine and connected one end on 2 the turbo 2 dry it out!!!

Gasoline works just fine. It breaks up any oil deposits/junk that may have built up inside the ic, and if any of the gas should make it's way into the throttle...well there is no negative effects.

Could I clean it on the outside with gas too?

Just don't use any lighters around it lol I would use degreaser as it's safer

i used degreaser, then wahed it through with water and then stuck a hair drier through it to get all the water out.
