how to up bhp from 270hhp

write guys at the min the car is making just short of 270bhp i want to get it to 300bhpand there is alot of people on hear that no there stuff what whould get it there. hear is current spec

custom front mount intercooler
custom boost pipes
ogura racing clutch
orgura lightened n ballanced flywheel
trd lsd
hks v pro standalone ecu
cruise loom
3bar map sensor
550cc sard injectors
hks airfilter
hks evc 6 boost controller
honda civic alloy racing radiator
trd engine mounts
walbro uprated fuel pump
forged adjustable actuator
alloy oil catch tank

on low boost 1.2 bar was making short of 250hp on high boost 1.5bar makes 270hp and 255 lbs torque.

Either swap to a TD04 hybrid or go for one of Daves Ballbearing TD05s.

OR add some cams and it should see around 300.

a 50 shot of nitrous!! muhaha..nah but i would say just whack the td05 on there...ball bearing too so shudnt be hardly any extra lag over the td04 and no lag between gears.

agree just bolta tdo5 on with same flange saves alot of hassle. u bored with he poweralready???

nah not yet mate when am in it cant get the smile off my face just sumthing to do over the winter as a wont be using it much with the weather.get it done ready for the summer;)

AET Turbos custom GT25 built to suite starlet turbo. Good for 320bhp and take the piss out of a td04/05 for spool up.

whats the spec on one of those turbos mate? ball bearing? whens it spool up and what kinda boost u gna have to run to be hitting 300 odd with it?

Alright mate, sorry for late reply, full boost at around 3500rpm and maing 300 horse at 1.5 bar with correct supporting mods. And yes, the Gt series on the garrett turbos are roller bearing.

Do you know someone with that turbo? is that on a 4E? what mods?

ye mate i ran one on an old glanza that i had, i got a manifold for Garrett turbo fitment off ebay for like 90 quid. Had a custom downpipe mate, the turbo was 380 pound.
I ran front mount intercooler
walbro fuel pump
330cc injectors
and obviously air filter
2.5 inch exhaust system
I had a blitz access Ecu
I ran mine with stock internalls
zep head gasket and 1.3 bar it made 268 bhp

Suprisingly enough it did last for the amount of time i owned the car. Since then its been rebuilt though

wow mate u dnt have a dyno graph do you. cus thats hitting some seriously good power there, and full boost at only 3500rpm. very impressive. im sure the thread starter aswell as myself would love to see a graph if u got one.:beer:
