how would i know lsd gbox?

hello there, i know my cars got an lsd, tryed the old, pick it up and spin the wheels test, its more than likely the standard lsd box, but whats an easy way to know for sure? its fucked to be fair, oil seals pissing out oil, syncros gone, and the lsd's clunking worse everyday. someone has one for sale, i got 2nd dibs atm but wanna be sure it'l fit easy and that i have the correct drive shafts already for obvs reasons, ta, rep will be added as allways

I have been told that a lsd one will have a bigger bell housing i am not to sure if that is right i am sure someone will correct me if im wrong.

is your driverside driveshaft shorter than your passenger side?
