Would it be safe to run a hybrid ct9 with a stock exhaust, gutted cat, ported stock mani and rx7 tmic or am i asking for trouble?
I want to keep the stock exhaust because i drive the car long distances every day and couldn't handle the noise from most aftermarket systems. I would be afraid that changing to an aftermarket exhaust would result in the loss of a big chunk of torque from low down the rev range at the moment it's making 180ft/lbs @3500 with a fcd/fpr setup.
My plan is to fit a hybrid along with some form of management and run 1.1 - 1.2 bar.
Opinions please.
