Ignition Advice

Im having a bit of an issue with my glanza at the moment and having read a couple of threads on here its lead me to believe the ignition system is at fault.

When i boost it up it reaches around the 3500-4000 rpm marker and feels like its spluttering and holding back and its not very smooth from there to the redline. Its ok at idle and seems fine when driving normally. Ive spoken to my mate whos a mechanic and he said its probably leads. I also checked the plugs and the element seemed a bit on the thin side so im guessing they are either knackered or are the wrong heat range.

Just wondering if anybody can point me in the right direction of a decent set of leads and the correct heat range for plugs. Ive heard good and bad things about magnecors just wanted to see what your views are on them. Probably gonna be getting the parts from Tuning Developments.

If it helps the car is running an RX7 Top Mount, Sard RRFPR, JAM Actuator and FCD and is set at 1.1 BAR

Any help would be great

It sounds like a 'soft' form of fuel cut..........but i see you got a FCD but im sure u can still get fuel cut dependant on what setting its on (if you have HKS one)

But the other other thing is to check rotor arm, change plugs etc and do you no when your fuel filter was last changed? maybe worth doing that there only about £8

Btw i would'nt run 1.1 bar if you havent got a upgraded manifold.......cause standard ones are restricted in cy.3 and causes piston no 3 to melt..........i found out the hard way
