ok i got to admit to being a total noob when it comes to electronics. i would really like to know how a stand alone fuel management system (some at least) would control normal "base" (all four cylinders) timing, then maybe i would get some clue on how individual cylinder timing works.. im really interested in the J&S Ultra SafeGuard system to monitor and control knock/pinking/detonation
since this is in essense a closed loop knock detection system i think it is the leader in knock detection.... will this work as a standalone or would it need to feed off some signals off the OEM ECU or rather ESM.. reason im asking is coz my EP82 engine is imported and dont have the original starlet ECU
