Info and help needed!

Hoping this is in the right place!!

Well guys i have a 94 ep82 i got a while ago and its been lying up a while now so thought its time to get the finger out. My plans are :
1. Full respray in black again as paintwork is rough.
2. Full wiring loom overhaul as whoever had the car before me made a mess of it all. Im just going to replace the entire loom.
3. (a) Im thinkin of either a full oem engine rebuild just to leave it sitting perfect and then starting to progressively modify it bit by bit or
(b) Getting my hands on a 5efe and changing over my 4efte internals and turbo etc.

Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated people. Im pretty much a total beginner with all this craic so need to learn bits and bobs!:haha:

The only 4EFTE internal bits you can fit to a 5EFE are the pistons. The 5EFE block is roughly one inch taller than the 4EFTE block. Since you are a beginner search and do a lot of reading all of the information is listed on here.

i believe that the best thing is to buy a complete 4efte,wiring,gearbox etc. swap and before fit do your rebuild as you wish...
