you will have to start again with 0 no claims. some companies give you a discount for having another car. its not cheap. i have 3 cars all with separate policies.

just do a quote online with 0 no claims to get an idea of what you may be paying. who are you currently insured with and what sort of car you looking at getting?

you can save some cash on your current policy when it renews as you can drop the mileage limit. its not just the insurance though, its all the other running costs, tax, mot, consumables, service etc

I was with adrian flux on some kind of multi car policy, cant remember if they were able to split my no claims or not. I had a skoda fabia vrs and my gt with mods declared and was paying around 1200 both fully comp. Must have had about 6 or 7 years ncb though.

I found that through a place called equity red star, worth trying them cause they were a decent help.

I insure two cars through sky insurance, the glanza is on 3years ncb and the polo TDi had the 3ncb mirrored over to make it cheaper for the first year only. i paid £390 on the polo and £1150 on the glanza all mods declared.

on alot of the trade policies you are only insured third party only on any car you drive. ok if thats how you want to roll, but its not for everyone

i am yet to find one like that. most have age limitations too. im 26 and had a look and coulnt find a policy that would cover me fully comp on all my cars under a single trade policy.

recently taken out an admiral multi car policy, saved me roughly £900 than insuring the 2 cars with sky.

they will only insure cars with minimal mods. otherwise you have to go with specialist insurers like sky or adrian flux etc.

Hi,I agree with this information. This is a good way of saving cash with 0 no claim on policy.

Thanks for sharing information.

Also, if you arent going to be doing many miles with the starlet you could look at limited mileage policies
