Insuring another driver

My insurance is up in the new year and due to the amount going on next year I am going to put my mate on my insurance as he will be sharing the driving for some of our bigger trips.

Who else has named drivers on there polices (not including mummy and daddy) and who are you insured with as my current company want over £250 to add him :(

how old is the guy and how many no claims he got?

has he had any accidents his fault or not in the past 3 years.

when my dad wanted to add me to his insurance (he drives an f reg nissan bluebird, slow as fuck) they wanted £450 that was when i was 21 and had 2yrs no claims, and no accidents.

i reckon that price is about right.

He is 22 have with no accidents.

I dont think that is a very good price thats half what I pay for me...

that sounds about right elaine, he will be classed as a higher risk than you being a male, and there is 2 people on the policy so there is 50/50 chance of him crashing .

3rd party is not an something I would be happy with...

O well I will have to get him to grow some boobs that might help bring it down :D
