Is it too big for 1500 cc engine?

Run it with a thermostat so that your engine does not freeze over when you are not giving it the beans. It should keep your oil and block temps in general nice and cool. How come the feed and outlet pipe to/from the oil cooler are facing opp directions? How is your plumbing like?
Could you share more pix of your engine bay..? I'm curious.. :)
Nice FMIC BTW.

too big imo i would go for a 9 or 12 row cooler.they would be more than sufficient.because the cooler is so big once you are running a thermostat on there the oil will get to cold to quick inturn closing the thermostat in which time the amount of oil that will have passed through the cooler will be minimal amking it pointless.

Are you going to use it on the circuit? If not then why bother?

I've no oil cooler on mine running over 400hp and never ever had temp problems, though if I was on the circuit I'm sure it would need a cooler.
