Hi all i have recently purchased a 96 glanza after having to part with my beloved gt4 st205 but i must say i'm loving this car!!! I'm heavily into modifying my cars my celica was RR at 396bhp and all the work i did myself so i have big plans for the little one. Its a clean car with some mods already it has a blitz induction kit, cat back exhaust (not sure what make), apexi power fc and a few other bits and pieces. So what is the best way forward from here as i'm thinking after i have given it a full service, dizzy cap, rotor arm, plugs, leads, fuel and oil filter that a de-cat, manifold and turbo upgrade. Also what sort of power can the standard internals run? Thanx all look forward to conversing with u all.

Welcome mate,

People say anything between 200-220BHP is fine for standard internals however there are members running more than that on standard internal jsut really depends on how well its all setup and engine condition etc etc. You sound liek you knwo what your doing all you need to decide is which turbo you would like to go for and the purpose the car is used for. Also not to forget handling etc as it isnt too good on these cars when they are modded.

Forgot to mention it has coilovers as well! 396bhp came from a Hybrid turbo from a supra, walhbro fuel pump 800cc injectors, straight intake with the battery relocated to the boot, front mounted intercooler, de-cat with straight through hks exhaust, hks cams, ported and polished head, forged internals, and an apexi power fc it made 396 at 1.15bar so i think it was capable of alot more but i was using it as an everyday car so i needed reliability. It was a lovely car i'd had it for nearly 3 years but i've always fancied one of these so thought it was time for a change and a chance to save a hell of alot of money!
