k24 or k26 4efte

hello guys u have a forged 4efte. i have and uprated fule pump and going to install a set of 460cc injecters. i want to install a larger turbo.

as i can see the most popular upgrade is the td04. with this turbo the engine output can get up to 220- 270 bhp . spool time is very good too.

i was considering the td05 but i was told that it is going to be very laggy

i want response and decent power.


i read some where that the k24 and k26 are both responsive and produce good bhp figures.

can you please tell me the estimate of when they start boosting and what is the save boost level on those turbos ?

and normaly what bhp figuares these turbos outputs ?

First off what management system are you running?

I have a sard k24 setup for sale and loved it, had a very progressive curve and boosted from 2.5-3k, i got 193hp atw on .6bar with mine, it will take 1.5 bar but would run happily at 1.2/1.3 bar at the 250ish mark - here's my map

curretly im still on the stock ecu but i was looking for a greedy emanage or a cheap stand alone ecu can you please suggest and good managment at an affordable price ?
