knocking noise from lsd or driveshafts

car has started making a a knocking/clonking noise when sitting about 60-70mph from the front. think either the lsd is on its way out or the driveshafts. have already checked the engine and its sound. any help?

thanks for the help, how would i go about checking these or would i need to get the box stripped and rebuilt?

im not sure mate really, jack the car up and where the driveshafts go into the gearbox, move them about and see how much give there is, if you hear a knocking noise thats coming from inside the box, i guess it could be a possible problem with the bearings! dont hold me to that though
