Lambda Question

I dont seem to be getting very good fuel consumption and was just having a play around and decided to see if it could potentially be my lambda sensor.

So I unplugged it and the car felt exactly the same. Could my car have been running rich for all this time without me even noticing? MY EML light doesnt come on with it in or out.

Could my lambda be faulty? Or am I just being a plod?

it does make no noticeable difference when unplugged.

its always worth changing the lambda as they do deteriorate with age. what is your fuel consumption like?

Hmmm just worked it out and on my work cycle which is a combo of motorway and some town i actualy get 33mpg or there abouts...just felt really bad. I seem to have to put petrol in all the time.

Paranoia will be the death of me

they have pretty small tanks, so you do have to fill up pretty often. 33mpg is pretty good going really

yeh, all that filling up just makes it feel like its eating petrol. I should stop trying to match my economy to my mates fabia vrs
