Lightened flywheel

Hi guys! I recently replaced my stock flywheel with an aftermarket lightened flywheel. When I drove it for a test drive I noticed that it changed my boost setting. before I replaced it i only do a stock boost of .10psi after the replacement my boost peaks on 15 psi.
The question is, does changing an aftermarket lightened flywheel relevant on sudden bosst changes on my 4efte?

Morning buddy,

I've just driven my own gt after fitting a lightened flywheel (and lsd box). Certainly revs a bit more responsively but boost has remained the same, definitely nowhere near the gains you are seeing. Not sure if that helps but I'd be interested to hear a few others opinions.

mayby ur vac pipe to actuator got disconnected while doing clutch ????

your answer are greatly appreciated.
I'm a bit anxious with this knowing that it
wasn't the flywheel that cause to change
my boost setting.
if you don't mind can you give me an alternatives
on how can I isolate my case?

you guys are great. Shamefully i didn't check the hoses fromy actuator and turbine which is connected to my mbc one of the hose actually peeled of from the turbine.

no bother thats what we are here for

i made a much more foolish mistake before ( long ago ) with doing a clutch my map sensor vac pipe came of doing a clutch and revs hunting went of buying new tb and the likes al for nothing ha ha only to find out when tb arrived the hose was pulled of the map sensor !!!!

live and learn we al make them mate
