Nice video.
I spent a good few laps chasing GtMatchew in the afternoon on the open pitlane, that Glanza of his is very swish. The CT9 is great for response and most of the UK's small tracks.
I couldn't gain at all as I was much slower in the tighter corners but was faster on the straight than both of those

i still think he let you go by as he was still a bit in front of you at the bend and decided not to push you over the edge
:haha: Clearly. The rules were and I quote: "If a car behind you is faster, let them pass."
Everyone was cool with this, but I appreciate gtmatchew for giving it some welly, made our first time on track much more interesting! :rockon:

cos it doesnt mean that if you are a bit faster you would be able to overtake as was the case with gtmatchew he just decided to let you by as you are running td04 as not to make you feel down against a ct9 But it was a nice track day with some nice action wish we had a bloody track here to go to

nice vid dude, i presume the mx5 you mention was the blue one and not me? didnt notice it though?
to be honets on the track power was VERY hard to determin, a track more like castle combe or silverstone will seperate the higher power cars,
i was loving it! i had naff all power but supirior handling

But it was a nice track day with some nice action wish we had a bloody track here to go to
haha, almost seems like you know better than the track organisers who briefed us. :haha: When you get on track you'll understand why they have that rule. It makes good sense when you think about it from a fun and safety point of view.
Either way, I had a great day and wasnt out to prove anything or bully anyone ,just enjoy it!

Yea i was talking to the guy in the blu one pretty much all day, i think he was pretty anoyed that his supercharged one was only a TINY amount faster than mine, not really enough to overtake me lol - i think it needs a decent map on it though and he was buring alot of oil lol i went out in his car too and to be honest felt exactly the same as mine! but it did sound better haha

wow, I thought his was pretty nippy, especially good round corners. We were going sideways most of the way lol the track guys didnt seem to mind. :haha:

looking good for the first time on track pav , if thats a RPM gauge it looks kicka$$ , what make is that ??
The gauge is by Trisco mate, not really a nesscesity but its big and bright!

yea he was more of a drifter than a racer
not a bad drive though had good controlillbe at japfes but im only doing one track sessions so will be going alone to make the msot of it
mayeb at another trackday though! driving one is better thoug, makes you appriciate how much better it handles than a mere fwd car lol

There's a HD Channel on Sky and it has a program called 'Motorsport Ranch' and the Miata turbos screw porsches and ferrari's all the time. The people in the porsches etc are hilarious.

haha, had fitted a 3g brake kit the week before so was damn sure i was gonna use them

lol i can imagine there a fair few fast ones about, much prefere teh turbo route than the stupid v8 route they americans do, why go form 5050 wieght distribution to 75 25 lol
