loosing boost!

hello all, firsty hope everyone had a good christmas!!

basically my car (ep82) was boosting to 12psi on a hks actuator. about a week ago myself and aaron front mounted the filter and removed the air con. since doing this instead of getting the usual boost creep i am loosing boost, only getting on average 10 psi?

i have checked all the boost pipes ect and done all this with my old starlet with no problem. the only thing that i can think of is i removed the dumpvalve, would this make it loose boost? any help would be appreciated!

there has to be a leak in the system somewere.check all your vacumm pipes.what about your hks actuator how old is it??

yea will have do some investigating with the pipes ect, i was sure i checked them all tho. the actuator according to the last owner is less than a year old and was working perfectly before hand. looks in good nick too!

ya make sure you check all the clips on the intercooler piping are tightened up properly and that the pipe coming of the turbo is tight too as this will result in loss of boost if its loose.take of the actuator and see if there is any play as it may be worn slightly.hope ya can get it sorted mate.

were you still running the hi/low set up?
did you have a vac/pressure pipe going from the actuator to the efi plastic intake pipe?(small one going to near where the re circ valve used to be)
also do you have any blow off/re circ/dump valve fitted now?
