Dont know if any one on here is into there old school fords but growing up around them i basically cant not like them. So after having a wee look on youtube i managed to find this video of a mk1 lotus twincam sound quality is pretty good and some nice driving to match .

Are there any starlet owners on here who happen to own an old escort? Currently im helping my dad restore his mk2 for the track and we have just rebuilt the 2.0 pinto were using and had all the seats re upholstered. Will try get some pics up if anyones interested. also have a mk1 lotus twincam that my dad has had longer than i have been alive. One day it will be mine! Although he seems to think he'l get burried in it

x2 love old school my mate who ownes a bobyshop and is nearly finished building a mk 2 5 years on going project running cosworth turbo should be puttin down 450 horsies at the back wheels i reckon it must stand him 35000 euro back atlas axle was 4 or 5 thousand alone

yep, also an old skool ford owner, mk2 escort 1.1 pop plus, been sat untouched for a couple years. but getting there with it, sourcing parts again at the moment, il see bowt sum pics

as bought, and after an hour of it being home front wings were ripped off

some bulkhead rot and repair (tho now changed again)

as it sits now (a little further on than the last pic) iv spent bowt 12k on it over 8 years. would like to get ba k to it in the summer, but need to finish the mini 1st. ant wait to drive it straight sideways

Holy crap thats lakeside raceway. I race there a fair bit here in Australia.

OT, here's the excort that dominates that track now. It packs a 550hp atw cosworth engine (extremely rare engine in Aus you lucky European bastards).
