Lower Suspension Arm Ball Joint - Excessive Play

Hey guys,

Just wondered if anyone could help! Im in desperate need of a new ball joint as described above, thing is i need it pretty damn sharpish, ive got an mot retest Wednesday so i need to get hold of one and fit b4 then.
If i buy off of traders it wont get here til at least wednesday, so i was just wondering if my local motor factors would do one that would also fit off the shelf, say for a Tercel or the like?

Oh, and i also failed on my handbrake, its only 12% effecient, so should i replace the whole cable setup incase of wear, or do you reckon it mite just need a quick tighten on the adjuster, or a lube up? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

try toyota for the ball joint mate. or somewhere like part co.

as for the handbrake if it was me i would replace the whole lot but as your already on borrowed time you could try greesing and adjusting.

it would probably just need adjusting hopefully but if not then itll need replacing

balljoints can be got from ebay, or motor factors mate. they list the starlet turbo!
