measuring ride height

I'm trying to figure out how to get/lower car to trd specs of lowering by 55mm

where do i measure to see how much the car is lowered

Centre of the wheel hub, to the bottom of the wheel arch lip.

I measured from the arch lip > through the centre of the wheel > ground.

You need to measure the car all round first, and then lower in proportion - whos to say the front doesn't sit lower / higher out of the factory? Also my rear arches were 'L' shaped.
