best thing to do is kep your petrol reciept as it gives you the litres you put in, then divide the litres by 4.5 to give you how many gallons you have put in.

then finally you divide the mileage by the gallons you calculated.

Im getting 33-40 mpg on average from my starlet, best i have had is 45mpg. my AFR gauge helps me keep fuel comsumption down when cruising round.

Considering that my car can do 70Mph in 2nd gear before hitting the red line - 2 gears would be enough for the UK, as the maximum speed limit here is 70 Mph -))))

haha i know that 50 mph at the inside 60mph in the middle and 70 mph at out side but some fast cars i see them past go 120 mph at the outside strange i wonder if they get any ticket:haha: here max we can go is 60 kph to 80 kph which is shit:shoot:

This is a Glanza 1998 - AUTO gearbox -) 4 gears only!
30mph - 1st gear
70 mph - 2nd gear at 7 000 RPM
110 mph 3rd gear
150 mph???? - 4th gear - not sure about this one, the drag strip is not long enough to test it!

Didn't know that. My old ep80 was 30 50 90 120 mph good result there man.

my auto did 40 in 1st, just over 80 in 2nd, 120 in 3rd and not sure about 4th. Converted to manual last week and its night and day, especially handling.

What gearbox was it? 40kmph or 40mph? 80mph in 2nd would be 8 000 RPM, well above the redline.
