mintex brake disc not fitting????

wanted why the mintex brake disc not fitting any help greatly appreciated

whats the diameter of the old and new discs? maybe yours had n/a spec braces which i think are slightly smaller i think.

Have you compared the mintex disc to the old disc you took off?

Maybe they have sent you the wrong size?

about 10mm difference,didnt know na was different but they are advertise has 4efe,nearly all on ebay are 238mm anybody know the right size wanted vented ones or are vented ones only available for turbo thnks

I thought all models had vented discs?

If it is 10mm bigger diameter then it must be the wrong disc for the caliper. Either send it back or get it turned down at a machine shop to the correct diameter.

Do you have a pic of the original disc next to the new disc and a pic of the original disc fitted?

Never seen those calipers before. Looks like you need a set of calipers and carriers off a UK or jap spec starlet if you want to successfully fit updated vented discs.

can you pm me your chassis number so i can check the brake calipers on toyodiy?

they definitely dont look like any starlet calipers i have seen, unless really early ones had ep71 calipers or something?

had some free time so wanted to tackle the fitment issue,so decided to try to fit it the my project car,this time the mintex disc did fit the corsa hub but didnt fit the brake carriers strange???,then my third option was to try the gt4 calipers over the mintex,thnk god that one fitted or else i will have been sent to psychatric ward,then tested the gt4 brakes over the 256mm disc it fitted too please with that one,nxt step source some cheap ae90 hub calipers see if the ep82 soliel brakes can be uprated
