There is a lad on one of the local facebook groups, in australia that makes stickers. Exceptional quality too, here it is picturedDoes anyone know the size/specs of the GT logo that sits in the rear light up panel on my mk1?
want to try fix mine and get one printed if possible. Tia
I'll have a look, I seen them years ago like £50 a pop wish I'd brought one. There is a lad on one of the local facebook groups, in australia that makes stickers. Exceptional quality too, here it is pictured
My lense is fucked, so ill look into replicating them soon.
i would advise you to be Stupidly careful With that lense, they are Extremely fragile.

Yeah I've got a printed box to go in while I try recon the original. It'll look ok for now. Also of note, assuming you wished to fuck the original backbox off,
you can buy a reprinted one, again, from a guy on the same pages.
here it is on my car, keep in mind my lense is missing as it is Ruined. View attachment 7975
basically the experience every one has, if someone can make a Clear 3d printed lens, they would make a lot of money for them. The repro stickers are ok, but they have a few issues.
The silver is too thin so the light shines through. The green is also not quite as dark as the original and too transparent.
I had to use a resistor to tone the brightness down. I also used green silicone bulb covers and stuck some black vinyl sticker to block the light shining though the silver.
It's far better than a ruined one, but personally I wish I had left mine as it was only starting to go funny.
A clear lense wouldn't be too hard, it's getting the GT bit right. If someone could make a lense with the GT bit correct, then lighting it from the back would be the easy bitbasically the experience every one has, if someone can make a Clear 3d printed lens, they would make a lot of money for them.
i have a sticker that is a perfect replication of the GT rear glow badge logo, used to replace it, but could be traced to get a 3d printed lens as accurate as possibleA clear lense wouldn't be too hard, it's getting the GT bit right.
