Quinn Direct do mine monthly. I'm in the UK and they are an Irish company so you shouldn't have any problems. Might be more for you though because I'm 22

payin monthly you get robbed if you have good cred rating would recommend using cred card to put the insurance on and then payin the cred card everymonth.

yeh credit card is better but you must pay it.
I found monthly payment from my insurer would have made it approx 1/3 more expensive. Where as if you are clever it won't cost you anything to put it on a credit card.

yeah, thats what I was thinking, Really try avoid credit cards normally though might try to borrow from the bank of mum - has the best interest rates about!

Well it really depends on how long you get 0% interest on your credit card. If its only 6 months for example and you have not paid it all off by then, you may end up paying more in the end.

The APR they charge can be insane.

most new cred cards are 0% for over a yr now! you just get dammed after owning a few coz you cant apply for a new rate/card when you have already been existing customer :(

altho ive found virgin have been real good at offering me another 0% rate everytime ive cleared my card! waiting for the next one to be offered to be so i can put the car insurance on that but even on cred card its not as bad as the rate off insurance! it worked out at an extra 300quid on policy for payin monthly!

Yeah, mine with Bell was about £300 more from paying monthly. Takes the mickey really, but it encouraged me to pay it off asap once I had the cash. Best to avoid pay monthly at any rate really though !

Hi,

does anyone know a company that will insure me on a starlet paying monthly? Im 20y.o with 1 yr NCB

Thanks

if you go to bell and insure yourself fully comp and then add either your mum or dad (whoever has the better driving record) AS THE SECOND DRIVER NOT FIRST and you will get a massive discount. i did this and got just short of 600 off coz my dad was a second driver. its mental but it works.
