They best way is to buy an adjustable actuator because it hold boost aswell as increase it. Just make sure you don't go hitting fuel cut.

not too hard there is a guide on here somewhere i think, but if you install that you must have atleast an fpr set up too.

with the rrfpr (sard one is very good) fcd and boost controller of some sort, Your good for 1bar, but a uprated inter cooler and manifold would be advisable.

rrfpr = rising rate fuel pressure regulator. It's a pretty crude way of adjusting fuel for higher boost level...but it works. When used along with a fuel computer like the safc, you can trim your fueling to suit your boost. The rrfpr will cause the car to overfuel, you then use the fuel computer to change the injector cycle to trim back the extra fuel until the correct ratio is acheived. Pretty crude, but the upside is if the fuel computer fails the fueling reverts back to being too rich insted of leaning out and blowing the engine.

so how much work is involved in doing all of this, do i have to get a tuner to do any of it or can a good set of instructions solve it?!

A good tuner and a session on a rr will do the trick once all the parts are fitted.
