Movie Maker

I was just on movie maker there and tried downloading footage from real player onto it and it said this

cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

Any ideas on how to solve this or what do i need.

download the klite codec pack and reboot your pc, a codec is simpkly a bit of software used to decode the video filter or type.

then u should be able to use that file, if not lemme know there is plenty ways around video encoding decoding probs
