The first one will delimit the car too, I have a similar unit. The limit is still there but instead of being 180kph it's 180mph.

simple to do mate....basically unscrew the old kmh cable anti clock wise as you do lol then put on the converter and turn the whole converter dont worry about the big bolt just screw the whole thing....then make sure the cables in right...the put on the top half of the cable...screw it in tight then you should be away....

tight squeeze if you have big hands

Sorry to dig up an old thread and all that, but I'm thinking of doing this.

The thought crossed my mind today that couldn't I just buy a new speedometer dial fascia that had miles on it? Put that over the kph, then it is easily removable if I come to sell the car, so the odometer still shows km, rather than having 78,000 Km then changing to miles?

Any ideas?

You certianly could, Jay has these for sale in his Jay's Garage section for good prices too :)

Then the dials would be in mph (up to 110mph) and the odometer would still record in km's
